Help oil metering pump

Hi guys in new to the rx 7 world . My brother was a avid rx7 road racer. He just passed and gave me his street rx7 he was rebuilding it, looks like every thing is done but I found the linkage from the carb to the omp not connected and two tubes that go up to the top of enging open. Kinda lost with this. Can any one help. Also if anyone is in the rockford il area

Can you post a picture of what is/isn't connected? Perhaps we can help you get that reconnected with the right parts.

It's likely that he deleted out the OMP in favor of running 2-stroke oil mixed in the fuel. If this is the case, be sure you're not running the car without verifying the fuel is pre-mixed with a ratio of at least 1:128 oz to 2:128 oz (1-2 oz of 2-stroke oil per gal) . Heavier ratios are typically for extreme racing or high RPM type of driving.
