Help Coolant Alarm

Hi everyone
My wife and I felt sorry for this 1994 RX7 which had been standing un-loved in the cold for 3 years, dented and with a lot of parts missing, the engine was however brand new, after a few thousand pounds we registered her and have just started to drive her around town, however COOLANT ALARM!!!!! Have done all the normal things such as checked and bled and still the alarm comes on intermittently, sometimes for 30 seconds and another time it stays on until i switch engine off has someone got any ideas for me

Thanks

On my cars, the only time the coolant alarm has done its thing was when coolant was low. I have heard of others who had wiring issues or a bad sensor that caused the alarm to buzz.

The only recommendation I can give you is to go to the 3rd gen FAQ thread here:
https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/

and scroll down to the C section (for Cooling) where you will find a few good threads on the coolant system including these gems:

Happy reading.
