anyone using this boost controller or knows anyone who is?

While I am not familiar with this product, the pictures look shockingly like the Chinese knockoff boost controllers often seen on eBay. The solenoid is exactly the same as the China controllers.

Never used them.

There are plenty of common boost controllers used in the RX-7 world like the HKS EVC, Apex'I AVCR, Greddy Profec, etc.

I am recently using this item with EVO version.
Great respond, and they are the very public brand in Australia.
