harness doesnt have o2 sensor?

Did a engine swap and knew my o2 sensor wasnt hooked up. So I figured when i swapped the used engine I'll look for it. Well couldnt find it..and I dont want to unloom the harness and find the wire. So is there a ecu pinout so i can run a wire from the o2 sensor to the ecu?

What car? FC like you profile mentions? Missing 02 sensor wires are pretty common. Go to the 2nd gen FAQ and follow the links to the manuals. ECU pin outs are in the fuel/emission sections.

I know you said you didn't want to unloom, but why not? It's much simpler than running a new wire from the ECU in the cabin. You wouldn't have to go further than 3 inches back into where the wire is supposed to emerge.

The pinout for the S4 is different than the S5. And the pinout diagram can be found in the electrical diagram. On an S4 it is pin 2D and S5 it's pin 2C.

Im currently running my FC without a 02 sensor. My headers didnt have a place for them and the muffler shop was being cheap. So far I have seen little to no difference in gas mileage.. Its always been pretty bad... So maybe its not been working lol...
