GSL SE no idle

I've pulled and reinstalled the engine on my GSL SE with the mods listed below and now it starts but has no idle at all. It starts strong, the RPM rise to above 2 K then it dies, all within a second or two. I can keep the car running by feathering the gas but as soon as I stop, it dies immediately.
Since I am putting the Racing Beat exhaust system on it (when I can drive it to the local muffler shop) , the mods I made were:
Removed and blocked off air control valve. Removed air pump. Blocked off the two hose connector on lower intake manifold above the air control valve. Blocked off the two control solenoids(?) on the passenger side firewall where the hoses from the lower intake manifold went. Blocked off the large (3/4" )hose fitting on the lower intake manifold.
I've also replaced air box with a 2nd gen K&N filter.
Obviously, I screwed up somewhere. Any help is appreciated.

did you plug your AFM( air flow meter) back in?
if you didn't it will just start and die..over and over again until you do!

go ahead and check the AFM as suggested above, it's fairly easy and straightforward, but i'm thinking more than likely it's a vacuum leak somewhere.

Yes, I did plug the AFM back in. I'll post a video of my pain. The car will run at part throttle around 2K so it must be something in the idle circuit. I've checked all the fitting that I can without disassembling the intake (again).

So here is a crappy video. Sounds like the alternator I just put on is on its way out too. The first start is what it does without throttle, the second is me keeping it going by feathering the gas.
