"grounds" from hood latch?

There are two black wires that are bolted to the hood latch, both go to nothing.
On one there is a connector and I traced it too hanging down next to the "FB11" and "FB12" relays.
The second hung down next the horn and is just open wire at the end.

Just curious as to what these go to, as I am in the process of checking through the common problems in the engine bay.

I took pictures and saved them to my computer, to upload them should I just use the IMG code from an uploader such as photobucket?

ya,go ahead and upload and post the pics.
But I am sure that the wires are not important.

that's is ok,they are aftermarket anyways,so go ahead and remove them if there is nothing going to a positive( that is aftermarket) and needs ground.
Really that wire is going ground to ground anyways so it is a bit useless.

Do you know what the hood is made of? It's usually steel, but some were lightweight aluminum.

Which Models came with the Aluminum standard hood?
I have a GXL if that makes a difference, it feels like most any hoods so I'm just gonna assume its steel.

I believe the verts came with the aluminum hood.
The best way to check is grab a magnet. If it sticks,it is Steel.
You can also tell by weight. The steel hood is 56 pounds of Inverted Bob Sled..lol!.. and aluminum is about 26.
