The Greenhorn
Hey guys,
I'm new to the rotary scene. I just recently got an '89 turbo II and I was wondering if you guys could tell me how to take care of it and do maintenance on it. My goal with this car is to restore it to a reasonable condition. Right now its sitting in primer waiting until I can afford paint. All of the work I have done on it is bodywork and wiring for the sound system. The engine does run so I have less to worry about I suppose. If you guys could give me some pointers, tips, and ways to make it run better, I would appreciate it. All current parts are stock.
Thanks,
Matt

Just do the basics: Tune up, oil change, fuel filter, air filter.
Also do a complete cooling system overhaul, every hose, turbo oil and coolant lines, etc.
Clean out the BAC and adjust TPS.
Don't put on a boost controller and start giving it more boost.
