Going to look at a flooded RX-7 tomorrw need help

Hi, I'm going with my husband tomorrow to check out an 87 Rx-7, it's been flooded for a while close to a month and the guy doesn't know what to do with it. Browsing around I have found several things that may remedy it, but I was wanting some advice on how to do it. I know there's the fuse EGI or ECI to pull, and the spark plugs, but I don't exactly know how to go about doing these things.
Thanks!

From: Smiths Falls.(near Ottawa!.Mapquest IT!)
If the car is flooded as you think it is,Follow this:
Take the EGI Fuse out, take the spark plugs out( NOTE location of wires,OR do them one at a time.)
Clean the spark plugs. They should be WET(gas) if the car is flooded. You can burn them with a lighter if you like for a sec, just to get gas off.Don't over-expose them to a lot of flame though.
Now,Roll the engine over for about 15 seconds with Plugs OUT
Then, put a Squirt of oil in the spark plug holes.(like a "spit" worth..lol!)
Roll the engine over for about 2 seconds.
Put the Plugs back in,Put the EGI back in.
Now If you have FRESH gas in the car,try to start it.(if the gas is just one month old as you say, then just add like 2 gallons to be sure).
The car should want to fire up,NO FOOT on the pedal at first.Do NOT pump the gas..That should do it if everything else is Normal on the car.

Mistery has great advice.

I may add with the plugs out as you rotate you will want to hear a constant swoosh sound psst.... psst.... psst. Per rotor housing

You will find it almost impossible to squirt oil into the top (trailing) plug holes, they are only about 1/8" diameter in the center of the plug hole making it a step 'up'..... most of the oil runs back out!
So try for the lower (leading) holes. Even this is very awkward to do. Use a small oil can.....and a good aim.

Misterstyx is on the ball.. I severely flooded my rx7 last saturday after finished swapping and rebuilding the engine (first time rotary guy haha). Found a procedure just like that, and once I went to start it up, fired up instantly.

Fogging oil would work for this. You can get it at your local auto parts store. It's used when storing engines to prevent rust and corrosion.
