getting paranoid... bout apex seals...
Blew a seal on my last engine.. had 107k miles maybe it was on its way then i got a engine from japan2la (s5 turbo 2 ) runs great beside tps issues.. that'll be my fault.. anyways i wanna drift it from time to time not everyday just like on weekends or something and still be a daily driver.. i guess im getting paranoid bout it happening again so i guess what would be some preventive measures i can take like premix etc...

You need to figure out why your last engine blew first. I'm going to take a guess that you were running increased boost on a stock fuel system?
Running a little premix (in addition to the MOP) can help decrease seal wear if you're routinely hard on the engine. But for every day use, the stock MOP is perfectly fine. But lubrication has nothing to do with detonation caused by too little fuel or timing that is too advanced.

You're nervous about apex seals.....that's like saying your nervous about your piston rings because they failed on your last engine. They rarely "just fail"...there's a reason and RotaryRocket88 mentioned a typical one.
Oh just on weekends or something? Wow, that's a relief.....I thought you were going to beat the **** out of it.

Well not sure how to read the stock gauge... but ive never really pushed it but highest ive ever had it was a little over half but that was with the other engine... but with this jdm one it wont boost as high. I guess it seems like it was easier to boost on my other engine. I still hear the turbo but gauge seems like its a little harder to make it move

S4 gauges max out at 400 mmHg (7.7 psi). On the S5 version, the max is 450 mmHg (8.7 psi). If you're running off the wastegate spring alone (5.5-6 psi spring), the needle should end up somewhere below the max point. You would have to be going into the 9-10+ psi range to start having potential detonation issues.
If your turbo duty solenoid is hooked up properly (factory boost controller), an S5 engine will be able to make ~7.5-8 psi as I mentioned earlier. If it's not hooked up, you're running off the spring alone.
If your previous engine was making stock boost and it blew, the most likely cause is going to be something like a clogged fuel injector making you go lean. The engine could have also eaten something, or someone improperly set the timing, etc... There are a number of possibilities.

Hurm... ya the jdm engine i got now it boosts up to lil lower then max that was the hardest ive pushed it so far. Just been taking it easy so far Im pretty sure everything is hooked up right i just dont wanna have any issues down the road with boost or seals. Lol but its a rotary so i might be asking a little much should i get a boost controller or something so i dont have to worry bout boost. Cause if im right shouldnt i experience something with boost like boost creep or etc with no cats, exhaust, and intake.

Boost controllers do not reduce boost below wastegate spring pressure. You may not have seen boost creep yet, but it may occur when temperatures are lower. The stock S5 wastgate is much better than the S4, but it can still get overwhelmed. It has to be ported to bypass more exhaust & control boost.

Kk might do that later in the summer but if im pretty light on boost then it wont happen? And is it hard to port the wastegate if the engine is still in the car

Also about my intake i still have pretty much a stock intake it just has a cone on the end so still has the stock turbo duct and everything it just has a cone on the end... now would that be considered stock or opening up the intake cause i havent seen any turbo problems. Myabe rocket is right maybe its the temp but im just curious
