General 13b rebuild parts cost?

Kinda still getting to know the ins and outs of rotaries. I have a general idea on how they work and how they come apart and go back together. I'm still looking for an FC to pickup for myself, but I need to know a thing or two about rebuildng the engines.
I am no stranger to working on cars, but I am having a difficult time finding some information. What kind of parts cost are we talking about to rebuild a 6 port NA 13b? what about the cost difference between an OEM rebuild vs using newer style/better parts to rebuild?

There is no estimate that can be given on a rebuild without tearing into the engine and finding out what is good and what is not.
After that is accessed you can order parts.
No sense in buying a bucket of parts that you don't need. It'd just be a total waste of money.

I'm talking a ground up reseal, assume the irons, housings, rotors, and whatnot are good.
What would you think it would cost to essentially "freshen up" the engine?

start off looking at Atkins Rotary website,They can give you a rough idea of the "basic kit"..
Personally,I do not assume anything when it comes to these engines.Case and point,I got a engine in a car that has a 30 cent o ring problem.
It is now going to cost be a engine, removal and half the engine torn apart just for that ONE O ring.
The engine runs fine.

Hard Engine Parts

for a FULL rebuild; you're looking at basically a rotor kit, full set of water seals and a gasket kit. this does not count consumables (Hylomar, RTV, grease, etc.) or machine work. as far as I know you're pretty much getting factory parts unless specified.

Pineapple Racing - Rebuild Kits

an example of a vendor that can get your rebuild kits both OEM parts or with some "substitutes". there are a few vendors like Pineapple.

Thanks guys, you've been helpful. It costs a bit more than expected, but it sounds like it doesnt all need to be done all the time.
