My little electrical problem

Hey All,

Last night my 86 n/a had a weird little episode. I pulling out of my work, accelerated to about 50mph when my car shut off. My car is standard so i pressed the clutch let it go and presto I had restarted the car. However when my car came back on just about every warning light came on, along with my clock(which has never worked). Also my wipers started violently whipping.

Obviously i figured i couldn't drive and pulled over. When I was slowing my blades stopped(the switch stopped working) I checked over the engine bay looking for blown fuses and all seemed fine. Drove the rest of the way home and noticed I have to hold my turn signals in place.(meaning the dont click up or down)

I am going to start messing around with my multimeter today and any help will be appreciated!
thanks guys

All the warning lights coming on is a reflection of a failing alternator.
