I left it running for a while Saturday. I can get it started without pulling it. It's just not as easy as it should be.
Once you get it running let it run for a long time, as previously stated, given that the engine is running properly and not causing the temp gauge to spike up to the danger zone etc and oil pressure is good.

So, my question is, is this to allow longer time for the seals to seat better? I mean I left it running for probably 15-20 minutes. I'm just curious and would rather ask dumb questions than be left wondering.
Once it is running and youre satisfied everything is stable, set the idle to around 1500rpm and let it be. Since compression is constantly changing, there isn't much use in adjusting and readjusting idle and TPS settings until breakin is almost complete, as the settings will change almost daily. Right now, the more you can drive it, the better. It is helpful for the first few hours to just let it idle in the driveway, if you cannot drive it around for whatever reason.
Breakin should be completed as follows. Keep rpms at or under 4000 until 1000 miles, gradually work to redline by 2000 miles, oil changes at 500 and 2000 miles.
Great improvements in starting, idle quality and overall smoothness/power will begin occurring immediately, but most improvement will be reached by 1500 miles. By the time the engine reaches 2000 miles, it is basically broken in and can be treated as you wish within reason.
