AB Fluctuating idle after rebuild normal?

Ok, heres the problem, i got my engine totaly rebuilt at rx7 specialites and when i picked it up (3 months ago) it did this wierd idle thing, the idle will constantly bounce up and down up and down from like 900-1500k and i asked and they said it was normal and the car was just trying to figure itself out and would go away after about a month...

Well it's been about 3 months now and is still doing it....
On start up it will start normal do its warming up sequence and drop to a nice 800-900 rpm and sit there.... as soon as i start driving and hit the clutch and come to a stop in neutral it will bounce up and down constantly for like a minute straight and then figure itself out and idle normal...but as soon as i drive and then come to a stop again does it again, everytime. Doesnt do it while driving only when come to stop in neutral or clutch is in....

any help?
Thanks.

No not normal. What model RX7 is this? What mods?

Sounds like a TPS adjustment issue or an issue with the mechanical settings on the throttle body.

It's a 93 fd has street port, bigger intercooler, cold air intake, power fc with map, apexi cat back and straight pipe, uhhh greddy elbow, stage 2 clutch kit, new fuel pump, think thats it for engine wise..

err and cat replacement with resignator, cancel the straight pipe.

engine has about 6k on it....sorry about multiple replys i just forget things.

k so i checked the readings on the vta1 and 2 on my power fc they are as follows....

Vta1 full closed..0.62
vta2 fully closed.. 1.51 <----- this one is off by about .26 could this be the problem??

vta1 full opened..4.42
vta2 fully opened..4.97

The rest are all in acceptable range except Vta2 could this be causing the hunting of the idle???

Well sometimes with a lightweight flywheel it will make the idle a little bouncy. So if you have an idle issue it will be more pronounced when you get a lightweight flywheel on your car.
