Fixable?

So this is pretty bad, obviously (the previous owner dropped it off some jack stands). My question, should I bother trying to fix it or find a new body? This is my project car so I don't mind if it's a lot of work to fix, I just want to make sure it is worth it.

I've seen worse cars that are on the road, right now!
that to me is cake, but I hate body work!
If the body is solid and the engine runs then it is a candidate..
If the body is shot full of rust and holes,fugget-about-it!

Engine and tranny are in great shape, 136k Kilometers on them. So I think it will be fine.

If it's worth it to you, then it's worth it. The rocker panels are available from Mazda as are the rear quarters. Expect to find rust up the entire pinch weld area as well as in the lower part of the wheel well by the hole plugged with the rubber stopper. It's going to be some work.

Question on this. It appears as if the rear fender, roof and the rocker panels are all one peice, is this the case? or is it just hidden really well? Any info on taking the body panels off to replace/fix are appreciated.

The seams are just hidden. The quarter joins the roof about halfway up the B pillar. The rocker has a brazed seam just sort of behind the door. Once you grab a strippind disc and remove the paint you'll start to see how it's put together.
