First engine rebuild.

Hey guys i have a 1991 RX7 and I'm about to do my first engine rebuild. Am i able to keep all the old engine seals or will i need to get new ones and what am i looking for on or in the motor that will tell me i need to order new parts. For example if i come across a busted apex seal or the rotor housing is in rough shape how can i tell if it is in rough shape. Unfortunately there is no online guide to do this and i don't want to mess anything up. Thanks for any help.

Have you checked the 89-91 Factory Service Manual for specs and directions?

Last I knew there were still instructional dvd’s available as well. Search terms Bruce Turentine (sp?)

Pineapple Racing also had a series of short videos with pointers and instructions for certain aspects.
