Few noob questions

I'm looking at getting my first rotary fairly soon (Manual 13bt s5), and just wanted to clear a few things up because i get constant mixed responses.

1. Rev limiters, how do they handle them, love em or hate em?

2. It will be my daily driver, and regular weekend thrasher, so prividing its a healthy motor thats been serviced regularly, How long would the engine hold up? Do they take the punishment or do they let go easy?

rev limiters are pretty good actually.

aaand rotaries aren't bad as a daily if you do routine maintenance.
A common problem with rotary is thermodynamic.
Before though, people had to rebuild mazda motors after like 50000 miles.
So just keep an eye on certain things if anything feels different

S5 non turbos that have been taken care of, will typically last 100-200K miles without any issues.

And as too the rev limiter... are you talking about for drags or street or???

If you kill the ignition coils as the rev limit there is not usually any sort of issue.
