they're usually smooth but stiff at the same time kinda.

I think this is dependent on the age/ mileage of the vehicle, but in general a FD should have a very positive & responsive feel. Definitely sporty, maybe too much for some.

I had an sti, and it was not a great daily ride. The seat makes you bobble cause of the springs under it.

The fd is great, and with coil overs you'll love it
