FD3S Head light question

Hi Everyone,

It's almost impossible to find a replacement head light assembly for my Series 8. My question is do Series 6 and 7 head lights fit the same into series 8?

all FD headlight assemblies are the same physically. there is a slight difference between the LHD and RHD assemblies for the lamp adjusters but everything else is the same.

Actually there's a big difference in the LHD & RHD versions, other than any aiming screw differences. Since they are bulb & reflector headlights, the optical design of the reflector dish will be completely different for LHD & RHD versions. They will probably still be plug & play fit, but using a RHD headlight in a LHD country will tend to blind oncoming drivers.
