FD3S beeps 5 times everytime I start the car (no light on dash)??
My 93 rx7 beeps 5 times, stops for 3 sec then beeps 5 times again.... does that 5 time so 25 beeps total everytime I start my car. there a no lights on my dash, and there is nothing wrong with the car??
Does anyone know why this might be??
PS. I just read that it might be a steering wheel sensor?? I do have a momo steering wheel on my car

Yes it does and i have the stock one disabled by bypassing the hood sensor switch. Had not though about the alarm possibly beeping at all but I'll check that today

I just checked my after market alarm and its not it that is beeping. So far from all the research I've done I only found two thing it could be
1) Read some place that if your airbag light on the dash is NO (mine is cuz of Momo steering wheel) but the bulb burns out or it gets removed (which I did, I didn't like it being on all the time) that you might get beeping from the dash? Is this possible?
2) Also read this but its for and FC, they don't say anything about an FD:
1-beep, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of speed sensor signal:
In case broken wires or short circuits occur to sensors or harnesses, the buzzer sounds 60-seconds after the engine speed signal of 2200 rpm continues for 18-seconds.
2-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of engine speed signal:
The buzzer sounds twice and repeats when the vehicle speed signal is missing input and/or no engine speed signal is found (short circuit, broken wire, etc.)
3-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of stepping motor signal:
The buzzer sounds when there are broken wires or short circuits in coils or harnesses.
4-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of the power steering microcomputer:
The buzzer sounds 4 and repeats when there are circuit troubles other than with the micro computer.
5-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of steering sensor signal: Steering sensor is mis-aligned or failed or steering wheel has been improperly installed.
Does anyone know if it could be #1 or if #2 applies to FD's as well? I've had the Momo steering wheel on my since I've had the car and no beeping before it just started out of no where

I won't let go
That's definitely not the FD.
5 beeps is an airbag issue. This is exactly what happened to me when my sensors were removed.
Did this start recently or since you bought the car? I ask as the previous owner may have removed the air bag lamp, which is the typical thing to do if playing around (read: removing) with the air bag itself or its sensors.
