SK fd3 coolant issues, should i drive like this?

hey guys got a fd3 with 74,000km.
coolant seal seems to be going, my friend followed me and noticed a fair amount of white smoke,
and the coolant goes low and when i fill it up and run the car after it just drains/squirts out of the reservoir from a small rubber bushing directly beside the bottom of the fill tube.
it doesn't like to start without gas and 4-6 seconds on the key
it sounds like it wants to die until i hold it around 1,000rpm and it will eventually stay there or around 800, if i let it die it stays at 100rpm
at a light it does the same thing, i have to brake, gas a bit, brake or else it stalls and then hold it at 1,000
now i drove for a bit and stopped turned it off and tried starting it right after and it took about 7- seconds on the key and then i have to hold the gas at 1,000 until it stays
now i went 200kph today and drove around hitting boost and the coolant never went past halfway. but then i looked one time and the coolant temp was at 1/2 and then i took a second look and i see 3/4 and then the needle just dropped to halfway.
i think exhaust is getting into the coolant system and creating so much pressure it just squirts out the over flow?
now i still cruise it when i'm bored and keep a jug in the back but never seems to heat past half anyway.

does anyone agree with coolant seal or could it be something else
thanks

i wouldn't start yesterday so i tool the spark plugs out and took the egi fuse out and cranked it a few times the plugs were wet so i wiped them off, put them back in and the fuse in and still wouldn't start.
got my friends to push and i dumped the clutch and got her going, it was idling ok at 1,000rpm but puffing a lot of white smoke, but if you rev it it wouldnt smoke, but then smoke after.

anyway im having Adam from rx7 Specialties in Calgary, Alberta to Build me a stock rebuild with mint used rotors and rotor housings with gasket kit for $3400 then two way shipping for $130 because i have to send my engine as a core

The car is showing unmistakable symptoms of blown water seals / coolant rings. The good news is that the car is still drivable, and if you hit 200 kph then it must still be making decent compression to make that power. In other words, nothing has been warped or damaged by the heat and your block should be entirely rebuildable. However, you should be careful because with a popped coolant seal, a spot in the groove where it sits is likely opened up and now prone to corrosion. It seems the car is still drivable but I would strongly recommend not driving it, and storing it in a dry area until you can have the engine refurbished.

It's a crappy deal but when you have it out, it's a great time to have it ported, and upgrade some internals. Hope it works out for you.
