QC FD twin turbo-boost problems

I have a fd series 8-not "rats nest" but a black box on twin turbos and I always had problems with boost. I wanted to know the best way to find vacuum leaks etc... With the compressed air and soapy water-where do I plug, cap, insert the pressurized air?
My car is a 1992 FD3S RHD with a 1998 FD engine-thanx

The easiest way I found was to run smoke through the system while the car is off. Any leaks will be found through a smoke leak. They make machines for this but I don't know how much they would cost.

Sounds gross but get a cigarette and connect it to a port on the TB. Disconnect the spark from the car so it won't start but will crank. It will "smoke the cigarette" in a sense and reveal your leak/leaks.

I will try the smoke thing, it would be very easy to tell where its coming from. i dont have my car now but, would you have to block things off? the air filters everything on that side, airpump, bov, crv? i want to do it right the first time, i have always had problems with the boost, i troubleshooted and stuck with 1st turbo never passing 7psi.
thanks keep you guys posted.

You don't have to block anything off. If the first turbo never goes pass 7psi, then I would check for a restrictor pill.

I was talking to someone about restricor pills, it seems those are very important and you wouldn't boost. I have a series 8 engine and i read thoses pills are integrated in the metal pipe. I will put and in and see. Where do you get them? another fd owner told me to make one from part of a bolt and dill bits the right size! would work i guess.

Honestly if you can get the dimensions of the pill you need you can find that at most local auto parts stores where they sell the crap for door locks and grommets lol.
