Why do you want to do this?

Are you racing in a class that requires a specific carb setup?

no class.. i just want a street able but yet decently powerd NA 6 port... my intentions are to get the pine apple racing large streetport templates and attempt to port it myself. just today i saw a pretty cool idea id never thought about which is a large ported primary ports and a bridge ported 5th /6th port. now if i run the engine with out actuators on the auxilary ports its gunna be a turd off the line right? so id end up using the stock but ported lower intake mani. or is there another way of activating those auxilaries? cuz ive heard of P ports that were only avtive at certain rpms

I suggest you just keep the factory EFI and make sure it is in good operating condition.

A street port is fine and will give you a bit of a jump in power (20%) or so. Don't think about bridging the aux ports. It won't work properly in most applications and will not give you the results you think it will.

The stock EFI system is decent for the era, but it's the manifold that really contributes to the car's flat torque curve. With properly functioning progressive throttle and working aux ports, it drives quite nicely. Throw on a short runner manifold and carb and while you may see some gains up top, you will miss all the low end the stock setup provided.
