i just found an FC 1988 turbo II, the car is in questionable shape, it runs the idle seems normal, the turbo isnt cracked (at least from the outside) it has 98k miles on it, and it just got a tranny from a 88 with only 70k miles on it. Now the problems are the drivers door doesnt open from the outside, the paint is almost all sanded off, windshield cracked, back shocks are a little saggy and squeak a little, car leaks little oil when started up. little rusting on the . The one of the dual exhausts has been welded shut due to it falling off , the whole exhaust t is very rusty. I am buying this car to fix it up and learn about rotaries. The guy is asking 2000 for it, good deal or go lower? any tips as to what i should look for or is this a good deal?

 

$2000 is $1500 too much.
