MI 85' RX7 GSL, oil leak & won't accelerate past 4k

When I was driving to work today I noticed that I had no power. I couldn't go any faster than 80 and I had no acceleration. I get to work, turn the car off, and a customer pops in and says my car is smoking and sure enough it is. Significantly, I open the hood and see oil burning off the engine and some resting on the frame on the passenger side.

I checked the oil and I wasn't down all that much from my last check. I made a post about it on Reddit and they said to come here and ask for opinions.

A lot of people have been saying apex seals, but then they say it wouldn't cause the oil leak, just the compression problem. I have an appointment tomorrow at a Mazda dealership and I'd like to have a little more of a heads up on what to expect or discuss with him.

Hopefully something simple like a broken OMP line. Can't think of much that would put oil on the passenger side frame rail.

Any chance you could snap a pic or two. Does it gush oil when running??

Oh, and change your fuel filter if you haven't in the last couple thousand miles...
