Hey i want to know if i can put the back seats in my fc ,i just bought it and i dont have the back seats and i was wondering if i find some cheap seats in a junky ,can i put them in and is it going to be hard or easy.

Also can i put in the lights in from the rx7s that have the round ones.thanks

 

back seats are Really small man.Like made for Midgets or Kids.
all the mounting holes are there though If you choose to go that route.
the S5 tail lights(round stye) can be put on a S4(86-88) Rx7,but you need to do minor Trimming to the Inside Metal where the light bulbs poke through Into the Body.Just a matter of taking a one inch square piece out so the light bulb doesn't hit the body,as they are styled differently.
Get the Harness for the lights too,if you plan on swapping rear tails.

 

The seats bolt right in if you get all the hardware but are really only suitable for cargo, small pets and midgets.

A '90 RX7 is an S5, so it's supposed to have the round taillights stock. If you don't have them now, someone swapped in S4 lights for god knows what reason.

 

Yea ur right .iam gona have to contact the guy who i bought the car from and ask him if he has them.

 

since were talking about swaping s4 and s5 parts i have a quick questiong to ask. i just brought my 87 home after an EXTREMELY long road trip. almost wasnt worth the car. but the driver mirror is missing. the only parts rx7 i have access to is a 90. will that mirror fit on my s4?

 

I might not be able to tell you much but my car has mirrors from an s4 and my car is an s5 so iam pretty sure you can try.

 

Yes, but you need to swap both mirrors. There are something like 4 different mirror designs for FCs, so you could end up with 2 that look totally different.

 

alright thats enough right there for me. ill have to pick them up tomorrow at the junk yard. sucks bad not having that mirror. pissed me off all the way home!

after going to talk to the guy at the junk yard today he ended trying to sell me just ONE mirror for 30 bucks! talk about a rip off. ill just search craigslist and find some that are way cheaper.

 

What does the mirror on the passenger side look like? There are the stock manual and electric mirrors, then there's the aero mirrors that I believe come in both manual and electric. I have 1 driver's side stock manual mirror if that's what you need. Aero mirrors came on the TIIs and some other models and have a hole through the mounting base and look very sleek along with being aerodynamic. Post a pic of your's or e-mail me a pic and whether it's manual or electric. I suspect all the S5 mirrors are aeros.

I also have a rear seat in red, but since it's from an S4, the fabric pattern probably doesn't match. PM me for pics, pricing, and shipping.

 

is the rear harness swap required to swap tails?

 

these are the mirrors i have. they are electric. i think imma end up going to portland where i will have a better selection of mirrors for cheaper

 

Hey does anyone know where i can find a radio console for my fc cuz my car doesnt have a radio and theres a big square hole in the center so where can i find a console thing so i can put a normal deck in( a small onr and no the factory one) thanks

 

Mazda sells the console surround. A standard stereo mounting kit is available at any car audio place.
