I have recently bought a 93 rx7. The car already had the simplified sequential vacuum setup but no block off plates and solenoids were just removed. I assume solenoids broke and they did not want to replace them. Anyway the car runs fine but there is a fast ticking sound during idle. The noise does not increase when applying throttle. The noise is coming from under the uim. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

 

I guess its possible you hear the injectors clicking?

 

I was thinking it could something to do with the ignition system. I have spark plugs on the way and will check when I put them in. I will also check out the injectors at the same time. Thanks
