Ticking under the dash?

I have no idea what I did or what could have gone wrong with what I did. Replace my cracked broken 82 center console with a newer one out of a 83 I also swapped out my gauge cluster.

I hooked the battery back up, and I started getting "ticking" under the dash. I took out the gauge cluster and I still had ticking. Then I took out the center console and also the same thing. It sounds like it's coming from the middle of the dash but I really cannot tell where it is coming from. The only thing I did not hook back up with the radio which never worked anyway. I am not getting any burnt electrical smell or anything out of the ordinary. And of course me being by myself I do not want to keep the battery on there just in case so it's hard to track down where exactly the ticking is coming from.

Any ideas, or suggestions?

Answer is the 4 ways are on... holy F*** and there goes my sleep-deprived horrible question for the year. blush:

One question on the 83 guage cluster. It's a little different from the 82. On the tachometer side the 82 has a single wire going to it, and the 83 should have a two wire plug. Should I just plug the wire in the same spot as it be on the 82 cluster?
