Is the wire to the temperature sender hooked up? It's a single female bullet type connector & the sender is on the rear iron near the oil pressure sender. I think the wire is yellow or yellow/red.

I think the internals of these old gauges are fairly delicate. My voltmeter hasn't worked since the first time I pulled the cluster, and I didn't even remove the gauge itself. Besides that, all I can think of would be loose connections or something hooked up wrong.

i had the same problem just a little differnt my oil pressure guage has never worked since i got my car. then when i hooked up an aftermarket guage the stock oil temp stopped working so i purchased a new one but it wont work on the old sender. and its hard as hell to get the old sender out. but thats my route. voltmeter also has problems u ahve to hit the top of the dash to make the needle work. replacing it as well.

^ Interesting. I might have to pull my cluster out this weekend and inspect the plugs.

For the horn, check the connections on the horns themselves. They can vibrate loose. The CPU (driverside kick panel) controls the horn function, so if you've worked in that area recently, check the plug.
