Engine Rebuild!
im goin to start taking the motor out soon i still have a few things i have to do like checking injector pulse but then ill tear the 13b out and start the rebuilt hopefully it wont too bad!

wouldnt be more for shipping? and im not totally sure what i need yet i havent had time to go and work the 7 yet ill get pics up soon. thanks for the help keep it coming!

If you can afford it, OEM is the best.
Unless you blew any seals, if you mark where all of the seals are when you tear it down are you can get by with re-using the corner seals and side seals by petting them back in the same place. With new springs of course

Rebuilding Kit
I paid $756. That includes shipping. It has everything except the metal oil retainers. Since you're going to have the engine open, might as well put everything new in it.PM me if interested. I'll give you the info.

That's the same approach I take. Unless I break anything I buy the A kit frpm Atkins. It includes all the soft seals and springs. I just mark all the seals so that I could place them back in there original position. Just make sure you check that all the seals move up and down freely with no binding. Goodluck with your rebuild.

While you have the engine open, you really should replace the apex seals also, even if they are within spec, in my opinion.
And if this is your first time rebuilding one, buy the DVD. You'll regret it if you don't, like I did. It turned out well for me, but the job was much more difficult than I had expected.

What year is your car? If you go with what I recommended, you won't spend $1500 on a rebuilding kit. It comes with everything & they give you the option of which apex seals you want to use. I went with atkins apex seals. If you want the info. pm me.
