Okay, I am new to the RX7 world, bought my first one a few months ago. It's a 1984 GSL. I have an option to pick up a spare engine for parts and stuff, and I can't beat the deal, but the engine is from a 1981 model. Should the components be fairly interchangeable?

now i'm not completely up on every little detail that differs between the yrs on the fb but i would say pretty much anything can be used off the 81 engine for ur 84.

 

That's what I was hoping, but I just wanted to make sure. I figured with the FB it wouldn't hurt to have a collection of spare parts around "just in case". Thanks for the reply!
