Engine mount question

Hey all,

Quick question regarding engine mounts.

Will the LHD mounts work on RHD models? So for example, will the driver side (LHD) match up to the passenger side (RHD) etc...?

Cheers

To answer your question....yes they're the same. Depending on build date of your car you might have an aluminum arm on the left side of the engine. If that's the case change it for a steel arm. See related post here---> https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...-help-1104353/

At least while you're in the new member section just indicate year of your 7...along with any SIGNIFICANT modifications in your signature. That way you can't forget and we don't have to go looking.

As sgtblue said. You will have one Ali and one steel mount. I believe the 96 onwards models came with 2 steel mounts. Unless previous owners changed this already it's a good idea to get rid of the ali mount for a steel one. Both sides are interchangeable so it's not side specific. You can buy a passenger side mount and fit it on the divers side and vice versa.
