I have an A12 and have a distributer question. I referenced the manual but for the unorthodox ignition system I'm trying to run it does not answer my question. My question is this:

There are two pick ups inside the distributer to trigger the signal to the coil and/or igniters. Is the pickup on the front of the distributer for the lower plugs or is the pick up on the passenger side of the distributer for the lower plugs?

Also, if you know the color coding on the pickup wires that would help too. Attached is a pic of my distributer.

 

I don't remember the color code assignments but maybe red and green? The leading (lower)
plugs should use the pickup thats closes to the front on the dizzy. Looks like you have an
igniter on there already but its not plugged in.
