Engine light/throttle problem
I seem to have a weird engine light and throttle problem on my 1990 NA. The engine light goes on when I'm not on the throttle, but turns off when as soon as I step on the throttle. I try messing with the tps but no luck. Any idea what the issue might be?

If you pull the trouble codes (as described in the FAQ) you can narrow your troubleshooting to the proper area. Sounds like a TPS issue to me but the code will confirm. "Messing" with the TPS won't really help...there is a procedure for adjusting it.
