engine issue.

so i recently did i full tune up on my car. i replaced spark plugs, cleaned injectors, changed all fluids, oil filter, oil leaks, flushed everything, checked pressure on engine. 1988 rx7 fc gxl N/A

so here is the problem.
1)my idle is bouncing from 500-900 rpms at idle?

2)also engine has been cutting off at normal temperature on really hot days.

the engine only cuts off during hot days on a 20-30 min drive.

the only thing i have in find that could be wrong is that i have a vacuum leak somewhere or im not getting enough fuel threw since my rx7 still has the stock fuel filter on.

its adjusted incorrectly. tighten it up a bit until the bouncing stops. use a multimeter and check the ohms. at idle it should read 1.00. very common problem. search the forum for details on read outs

Did the OMP (oil metering pump) happen to be an issue? I'm not sure if mine is faulty or not but it sure is dirty.

Thanks

The car would provide you with an error code telling you things aren't as they should be.

Clean it off and watch it for a while to see where it's leaking. On the FDs (and I suspect the earlier models are the same) they had an 'O' ring to seal the OMP against the engine. But there are also copper crush washers where the lines fasten to the pump. Worse case the lines themselves are leaking.
