engine differences from 93-95 FDs VS 99 and up FDs

engine differences from 93-95 FDs VS 99 and up FDs
What was the difference in the motors for the 93-95 FDs versus the 99- and up FDs. There is about a 30 hp difference correct? Do the later year FDs have higher boost?
