engine alignment problem?
hi, i'm installing an rx4 13b into my sa22. have drilled out the breastplate to suit, but it appears that the engine and gearbox is slanted towards the passenger's side? (RHD car) i'm sure this cant be the normal setup.. the slant is especially apparent when looking at the gap between the clutch fan and radiator. no pics yet unfortunately, but we're probably talking 5 degrees.
the breastplate did originally look a little bit bent, so that could be an issue, but i've straightened it and played around with the mount slots with no luck
i was wondering if someone with a 13b powered early model could take some measurements for me, so i could see how everything is supposed to line up? say the distance between the alternator pivot boss and the centre of each strut top hat? that way if nothing else, i can line it all up and drill it to fit.
thanks in advance!
