emissions

I'm trying to pass emissions with my car a 1994 rx7 and these are the results that I got HC 2.0119 CO 25.3217 this is what I have done so far.
New turbos from Pettit racing. Polish and porter.
Sparkplugs
O2 sensor
Highflow cat
And new pulleys and new belts.

I am also putting 91 octane as that is the highest in colorado. I do have protek that I haven't put in it yet think it would make the emissions even worse.
It seems to me that the car is running good but I want to make sure I am not missing anything.
For history on the car the turbos where leaking alot of oil and broke the stock cat.

Thank you in advance

you need to post the results and limits.

We know that.
but how bad did it fail?
There should be a standard MAX that the numbers are allowed and you need to post that.

Do you have an Air pump on that engine?

Air pump is key. You may also need the stock cat, but def need the air pump

Not sure if it helps but I think I remember reading somewhere that to have best results you should be in neutral with all electrical loads turned off AC, lights, etc. And you should test it right after it has warmed up.

Ok yes the HC should be at 1.2 and CO should be at 15 it does have a air pump

Would a highflow cat make it not pass emissions? Also I have a friend that told me put a little bit of e85 in it and it will run leaner, but I am worried about doing that on my rx7.

You may wanna break down and get a tuner.
If SARGE is on here he may be able to give you a suggestioon or 2 as he is an FD guy.

Right now my suggestion is,since you are in Colorado,is just smoke the biggest joint of Kronic you can find and you'll forget that it failed! (Oh come on!!!...that was Funny!)

Emissions

So I found out that my brand new turbos are only pushing 1.4 PSI at max.
this is why it is not passing emissions it is dumping more gas and not enough air.

My thoughts are it could be the solenoids.
any other thoughts of what could be cause me not to boost?

Thank you

boost leak or plugged exhaust.

But, your car should only add the amount of fuel necessary for the amount of incoming air metered. I could be wrong, but i dont think low boost will make ur car run rich

Not if its an idle emissions test, boost is only made under load, even a constant 25mph (if its a rolling test) there shouldn't be boost either

I think you might have another issue

Unfortunately its not an idle emissions test. They take it up all the way to 60mph
