Exclamation Egr blocking plate on the s4

I have a 1988 gxl. Ive been working on the car and bringing it back to life for the past few months. I bought the racing beat blocking plates for the acv and egr. Ive installed the acv plate but idk where the egr plate goes. I thought it blocked off where the egr tube went to it from the exhaust but id just have to block that off but now im lost on where this other two bolt plate goes. I can't see anything in these fc's. Id really appreciate some info on the location and some pictures of it bc google cant supply what i need. But once i figure this out she'd be back on the road again

On the TII it is on the Lower manifold, back side in between the manifold and the firewall, passenger side.
I "think" on an N/A Isn't the EGR on the center housing?..(maybe someone will pop up and reply).

Idk bud, when i tried researching it itd only show the TII. Where you are explaining it it sounds like it is where the egr tube goes into a nipple into the back of the intake housing looking from underneath itlooking to the front just beside the exhaust manifold but nothing to unbolt. Ill have to look to see if its anywhere close to the center housing but i dont beileve it is. Thanks

There is no EGR "tube". The S4 NA EGR is on top of the center iron. Removal of the intake manifold is needed to get access. There really isn't much reason to remove it unless you don't have to smog the car & you're already taking things apart.

The S4 TII EGR is on the back side of the LIM above the turbo. The tube that has been referred to is the split air pipe, which feeds air to the cat.

And just for fun: S5s have no EGR.

Ohhh dang no wonder I didnt see the sucker lol. Well then if thats where shes at ima just wait till the winter to take that apart and do it. I think itll run fine with just the air pump removed for now. Then I will take up the s5 TII option once I get another shop built and lots and lots of other cars to build besides this car. Its my first rotary I owned so im still kindve a noobie with some stuff on em esp FC's. I've helped my buddy with his 84 gsl se and thats all what I knew and theres more differences then id thought as far as the engine goes that i didnt know. But thank you very much for the info, I greatly appreciate it!

On my S4 N/A I didn't bother putting my block off plate on their, I actually just gave it to a T2 buddy.

Just put a vacuum cap on there, That's what I did. It was a little tricky so I used my angled needle nosed pliers and put a tiny dab of grease on it so it would slide on easier. You can gain access to do this from the driver's side, under the UIM.
