Eastside (Bellevue/Redmond) RX7 Shops
Somebody out there in the wilderness of the Seattle area asked about shops in this area, and whether anybody knew XYZ shop. I would have Replied directly but have insufficient Posts to do so. So here is what I know..from past helpful Poseters:
There is Apex Auto Repair in Seattle 206-767-0717
Or Jerrys Little Car Shop in Kent 253-854-9601
I contacted the Kent shop but they no longer do repairs on-site, they just sell DIY kits.
I am STILL looking for a BASIC mechanic/shop who is familiar with 13B engines; enough to successfully do a BASIC overhaul: apex seal replacement, bearings, minor tweaks and improvements (I am not racing this car!) plus a clutch and throw-out bearing...yes I could probably do all this myself but have gotten to the place in life where I would prefer to HIRE somebody to do it for me, rather than spend six months with engine parts and accessories strewn all over the garage and Don't Touch This signs everywhere, to guard against the wife or kids moving stuff around so I can't find it later....

I'd advise contacting a local member with a reputation. Like 'ArmyOfOne'. His name is Jesus. Of course pronounced Hey-Zeus.
I wouldn't trust ANY shops to work on my car. (I enjoy doing my own work, though.)
