Drum Brake Star/Self Adjusters

Are there any known replacement parts available for the star adjusters in FB drum brakes?

I replaced the shoes in my car and noticed the click adjusters are worn down to nubs and could use an update. There doesn't seem to be any aftermarket or OEM parts available, but wasn't sure if anyone has found something that might work as a replacement.

If not, I guess I'll hope to find some in a junkyard that are in better shape than mine.

I have an 83 FB, just redid the rear brakes last weekend and never messed with drum before.. That being said, this repair kit looks like it would fit. <$10 and it even comes with a new adjusting arm(?). I don't know what exactly you call the arm that sits on the gear, but heres the link:

It looks extremely close to the same as whats on my car, so unless the previous owner tossed in a new set of adjusters, I think this would be a cheap fix.

Edit: The gear on the adjuster is definitely smaller compared to mine, But the design is identical other than that. Gear shouldn't make any difference considering its smaller.

That's interesting. My local store has it in stock for $6.50. Worth it to see if it works. Thanks for the tip!

Of course! Let me know how it goes!

And you said its a GSL?? Didn't the rear end in those come with disc brakes? Just curious bc I was poking around online trying to find an adjuster to link to you, kept finding disc brake kits lol

Edit again: Whoops, I'm an idiot. Was mistaking another thread I was looking at. RIP

No worries! My car is a GS with drums.

I think my next major project will be to look for a GSL rear end to put in it. Discs are a lot easier to deal with.
