BC Driver's side power window

We have a 1985 rx7 GLS and the power window, powers down okay but when powering up, it stops half way and requires assistance by hand to fully close.
Could it be a motor issue or track issue?

The power windows in the first gen rx-7 has a bad window switch design. All the window motor current goes through the switches. Other then cleaning, the best fix would be to add replays inside the doors and use the switches to trigger the relays.
