Unhappy Dead 88 rx7 turbo 2...advice?

So ATM my turbo 2 is broke down, i was driving home tonight when the clutch pedal went soft and stuck to the floor, i got my car within a hundred yards of my house when it died and the clutch went to the floor again, when i tried starting the car again i wouldnt start doesnt seem like there is any compression at all and the was some smoke coming out of the exhaust.....

So any advice on what could have went wrong with my car im just curious?

ill be taking the car to MZM performance here in Austin soon so i should be in good hands

The clutch has zip to do with the engine being "dead" or not. If the pedal can get stuck on the floor, you most likely have a clutch hydraulic problem. There could be an external leak at the master, slave or clutch hose, or you could have an internal leak inside the master cylinder.

^what he said. it's best to just change it all out at once. not that hard. Mine went out and I changed the slave and master in a Wendy's parking lot.

It would be a good idea to do an actual compression test before assuming it has 0 compression. It may just be flooded.
