In an s5 car obviously the dash harness in the convertible is different given that it's got headrest speakers and the button on the cluster but would a dash harness from a convertible work on a coupe? would you just simply not plug in the ones that don't apply or is there more to it to where interchanging the harness' wouldn't be possible?

I want to know because I recently purchased a car without a dash harness and I'm in the market for one so I'd like to know what deals I could jump on when they come up.

I dont see why it wouldnt work, like you said there will be extra plugs that wont go to anything so you can eliminate them. It would be easier to buy one for the s5 coupe though.
