Customized Engine Stand for 1st gen 12A?

I have seen pictures and videos where it looks like an engine stand has been modified to hold the 12a engine by the side instead of the back. It looks like people may be using wood. I have tried searching the forum, but haven't come up with a description of how to do this.

Can someone point me to a post or page with recommendations?

Thanks.

A lot of people just make them themselves out of scrap metal, but Mazdatrix sells one and I'll bet some of the other rotary specialty shops do too (such as Racing Beat).

Just remove the power steering bracket. The standard engine stand adapter fits on that perfectly. Two different bolt sizes are needed. Remove the studs.
