Crazy Flux Idle
FD3S R/H 1993 Red
Hey everyone, so I have been working a crazy issue for a very long time now. No idea what it could be. I have searched the forums read many peoples struggles and tried to see if those fixes worked so far no success. Also, my issue is slightly strange.
So the things I have done are
1 Changed Spark Plugs
2 Changed Coil Packs (not together one at a time to see for fix)
3 checked vacuum lines as best as I could and found two broken, fixed them
4 checked all fuses
5 tried messing with intake to see if it wasn't getting enough air but no change to the issue
So with all of those completed admittedly the car does run better. However, it still struggles wildly. very intermittent too, most recently when I drive it starts normal no issues with running even as I wait for it to get to temperature and drive it around with no issue. However, once I turn it off and turn it back on at running temp it will flux at idle intermittently, sometimes even stall. Otherwise, when it's not fluxing it idles right at 900 most of the time sometimes 1100 sometimes 800. Overall very well.
A lot of people report an idle issue with A/C, my A/C does not work as such I do not have it on. However, most recently when it was fluxing I threw the A/C on to see what would happen, the extra load actually put my idle perfect. Somehow the draw of my A/C for the most part fixes my idle and has my car performing fairly reliably...Even still though occasionally even with A/C on it will still flux a lot but won't stall. Thoughts??
