Okay, I've been crying about my idle problem now for a couple of weeks now, but I've almost figured it out. Recap:
Bought Car (Fine, aside from slight idle prob.)
Couple weeks later starts but barely holds idle, rough idle, stalls.
Check Compression: Good
Replaced Gas Tank, Fuel filter, air filter, plugs, wires. Tested BAC (Fine).
Now starts perfect, idle is steady untill I touch throttle, then it starts hunting idle. Car will run and operate normal over 2500RPM. At running temp. idle still rough and when touch throttle, stutters then smooths out around 2500RPM. Took it out this afternoon and gave it the "Drive the f*ck out of piece o sh*t rotory" run. Then idle was solid at 800RPM... WTF?

I'm really confused?

I could be wrong ... but most cars i have driven (and i've driven a lot of cars) do that ... they'll idle smooth ... touch the throttle ... then the rpms will go up, then down ... hunt for a moment .. then smooth out again. UNless it's really hunting and almost stalling ... i wouldn't worry about it. Normal .... just my $.02

Okay, I'm going to pick one up tomorrow. I don't think this problem is normal. It's almost stalling and it's barely holding idle at times.
