Crank stuck!

Hey all,

Just keeping short and simple..

Just installed my motor, fired it up and idled beautifully!

Left the car off to the side for 2 days, try to fire it up that night and it wouldnt turn over.
\
I brought my breaker bar to turn over the crank manually see if there was any rotation but it was STUCK HARD!

Not even a budge~

Let me know if you have any ideas.

Thanks.

Don't force it!

First, make sure that it's not the transmission or an accessory that isn't stuck.

If it is the engine, I'd recommend pulling the intake and exhaust manifold. Examine the housings and rotors through the exhaust ports and see if you can spot any damage.

Squirt a bunch of carb cleaner or diesel fuel into the intake and exhaust ports, as well as the spark plug holes. Let it sit over night and then slowly try to rock the engine back and forth. If you can't get it to budge, then your best bet is to pull it and disassemble it.

Accessories would be the water pump, alternator, A/C compressor and P/S pump.

If you put that much force on it, and it didn't move, it's not going to be any of these. The v-belt would slip at some point. You're probably looking at some extensive internal damage if something like a seal got jammed against a surface.
