Hey all,

I have a series 1 RX7 with a 12a and was just wondering if anyone could advice on why a factor rev counter isnt working. .. it jumps when u turn the car on but nothing more .. wondering if its been disconnected so if anyone knows the colour wire to look for would be handy and where or any common problems with them

also have no reverse lights and interested to know any common issues it could be?

and also is there anywhere online i can get a full wiring diagram for sac22c

There should be a reverse light switch on your transmission with a couple of wires coming from it. I'd start there. As for the tach, I'm not familiar with first gens. Sorry i couldn't be more help and i wish for the best.

Tach signal comes from the Trailing coil, should be a Yellow wire with blue stripe. If the tach jumps, then falls on its face, I'd check the cluster and coils' grounds and clean them till they SHINE
