TX Coolant level sensor

I have a 1991 N/A 7 and the coolant level sensor in the radiator has a 6 inch wire on it with a connector.. then the wire it hooks into on my car has about 2 foot of wire that has been cut.. my question is anybody with a S5 can go out and give me an idea which way the wire is routed so I can hopefully find the other end of it.. Pictures will help if at all possible.. Thanks J-rad

I can tell you offhand that the wire comes from the driver-side of the car. It is part of the front harness, which starts behind the dash, then goes into the engine bay on the driver-side & wraps around to the front passenger side.

Thanks I will start my search there.. I am more likely looking for the point it comes out of the harness.. or a close aproximation where it does. I konw it needs to be somewhere within about 24 inches of the sensor but for the life of me cannot find it
