possible? absolutely!

how hard? you will need to provide details of what you have and exactly what you want. you can do your conversion using OEM parts (as long as the engine itself had been EFI at some point) or you can literally convert your carburetor/manifold to an EFI system.

once again, details count. the quality of guidance you get here is only as good as that of the questions you ask.

^^^^^what he said. Let us know what kind of car this is all for as that plays a big part into what parts to use.

Ok I currently have a stock 1990 rx7 s5 NA in my car right now.

I was given a turbo 13b engine and was told it was carb. It's missing some pieces and most of the harness so that's why I'm asking if its possible to interchange parts from my NA engine *sensors, any wiring harness. In addition to me buying the pieces for it. I don't know if it has ever been EFI before but I do want to convert it to a EFI from a carburetor.

You'll want to close one of your threads so you don't have to keep going back and forth. I'd suggest ditching this thread and keeping the 2nd gen section thread open since there is more traffic there.

You'll also need to define your goals. Is it an un-registered track car or an emissions legal street car? etc...

if you are doing what i THINK you are asking - which is what parts you need from your N/A to "make" your carb'd 13B-T fuel injected again, then you will need to buy many little bits and pieces. keep in mind that i'm not including things like flywheel/clutch/tranny incompatibilities either.

- the fuel pump, rails, lines and injectors are different
- i believe the AFM is different
- the ECUs are different
- the intake and exhaust manifolds are different (though they can physically bolt to each other)
- i would imagine the pressure sensors are probably different as well

by the way, none of your photos show the "important" side of the engine. if you want to convert the carburetor itself, that's a whole different kettle of fish.

on a separate note, i have looked at this thread and (your other) and i want to note two things.

1. you got a response the same day you started this thread, so i fail to see the point of you starting another in another forum the following day.

2. between both threads you still seem to have an issue with being clear - posting thought fragments and watching everyone try to figure out what you're asking. considering others have commented on this, i doubt that my understanding is the inadequacy.

it is better to post more information than you needed in your question than to not post enough. it helps the people trying to help you get you more useful information in less posts. here you have two whole threads with multiple posts in each and still what appears to be NO resolution.

i will link your other thread here and if nothing significant comes out of the information i gave, then i will close this one and let you just sort it all out in the Gen II forum.

i hope this helps.
